Earlier this week, we heard that Ubisoft is working on a sequel for last year’s Rayman Origins, and now the game has finally been revealed, thanks to a leaked video for Rayman Legends (aka Origins 2).

Rayman Origins impressed many owners of platforms like the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS Vita or 3DS.

Now, Ubisoft is working on a sequel that will be called Rayman Legends and that takes the loveable character on all sorts of new adventures in all kinds of new environments, at least according to a leaked trailer that just appeared on the web, via CVG.

In the footage below, you can admire quite a lot of gameplay footage, showing off the single-player mode, the multiplayer that now supports online connectivity, and much more.

Towards the end of the video, a special feature is presented for the Nintendo Wii U version of Rayman Legends, which shows that the game, thanks to the special controller of the console, will support a technology similar to that of Activision’s Skylanders series.

As such, players can place certain objects on the touchscreen of the controller and see them appear in the game.

Expect to hear some actual details about Rayman Legends straight from Ubisoft soon enough. Until then, enjoy the video below.
