A major leak has just appeared on the web concerning Valve's Half-Life franchise, as apparently Arkane Studios was working on a Half-Life 2: Episode 4 title, otherwise known as Return to Ravenholm, and a few images with the project, which has since been shelved, have surfaced.

Half-Life 2 was one of the greatest games made by Valve and its subsequent episodes delivered great experiences that pushed the story further.

While many fans are still awaiting any news concerning Half-Life 2: Episode 3 or Half-Life 3, website Valve Time has just posted a major leak.

Apparently, Valve had partnered back in 2006 with Arkane Studios, the developer of the recent Dishonored, to create a Half-Life 2: Episode 4 that took players back to the iconic Ravenholm location.

Besides this leak, the website also posted a series of images from the project, which was apparently canceled by Valve back in 2007.

You can admire the screenshots, as well as some rough animations in the video above.

As of yet, neither Valve nor Arkane have commented on this leak.
