Video game developer and publisher Bethesda announce that the final version of patch 1.9 for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is now available for all PC gamers via the Steam digital distribution service.

The biggest addition in the new patch is the Legendary mode, which essentially allows gamers to level up forever by resetting their own skills.

There are also a lot of bug fixes for the open-world first-person action and role-playing mix, all of them officially detailed on the Bethesda page.

The company also says, “For console players out there, we’re hoping to release 1.9 later this month — we’ll keep you updated when we have specific dates.”

Since Skyrim was launched, Bethesda has delivered three content packages and there are clues in the game that more DLC might be incoming.
