Final Fantasy XV might not have a launch date yet but one of the leading developers working on the title says that he is interested in making sure that gamers all over the world get access to the title at the same time regardless of where they live.

Traditionally, Square Enix has delivered its titles in North America on Tuesdays and in Europe two or three days after that.

A magazine from Mexico called Level Up quotes director Hajime Tabata as saying, “We don’t want to impose any big delays to players from around the world, so I’m hoping that everyone will be able to play the same Final Fantasy XV together within as close of a time frame as possible.”

Square Enix has not said whether it plans to deliver Final Fantasy XV via digital distribution on the Xbox One or the PlayStation 4 or if it will only sell boxed copies.

A digital version would make it easier to arrange a simultaneous release for most regions.

More info about Final Fantasy XV will be offered in the coming months and gamers will be able to play a demo called Episode Duscae, which will be delivered in the package for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, set to arrive on March 17 in North America and on March 20 in Europe.
