The upcoming Final Fantasy XV is a pretty hot title, and gamers have been waiting for it for quite a while, as Square Enix promised a lot of surprises.

After all this waiting, many members of the community are worried about some of the statements from Game Director Hajime Tabata, who mentioned that the role-playing game would be a little more casual, using a one-button combat system, instead of having a complex control scheme for players to master.

His reasoning is that many of the fans of the long-running role-playing game series are older now and are not so much into twitch action games, and they should also be able to enjoy the great storyline that the development team has prepared for them.

However, Tabata also tried to put worries to rest, as the combat system is designed to rely more on timing and strategy, so the game won't play itself, and player input will still be the main deciding factor during encounters.

A video uploaded by YouTube user For The Gamers explains how the combat system works, outlining the core mechanics and providing examples of how players can make use of its various features.

Final Fantasy XV is expected to come out sometime in 2016, headed to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One home entertainment systems.
