Publisher and developer Square Enix has released a brand new music video for the anniversary of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, revealing that the game has over 2.3 million subscribers worldwide.

The video features a popular track from the massively multiplayer online role-playing game, titled "I Beat Titan," rearranged by composer Masayoshi Soken during the company's anniversary broadcast.

Apart from the crazy music, the video also has some crazy visuals, showing the lumbering Titan crashing stuff and generally stirring up a ruckus, complete with very stylized graphical effects.

The video ends with a surprising message, Square Enix boasting "over 2.3 million adventurers worldwide," which means that the game gained around 500k new players since its release on the PlayStation 4 platform, and 300k users since E3 in back in June.

The newly revealed information points to Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn doing very well, which is very fortunate for Square Enix, especially considering the fact that the game comes with a monthly subscription fee and its initial debut was a total failure.

With a new development team, the game underwent a massive overhaul, being transformed into a completely different product, and was relaunched under the "A Realm Reborn" monicker a year ago, since then showing signs of good health and receiving praise for its wealth of quality content.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is currently available on PC, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
