The development team at Square Enix has announced that both Final Fantasy X and X-2 will be launched on the European market during 2013, with more gameplay for fans and High Definition graphics to bring the story to life.

The two games will be delivered on the same disc for the PlayStation 3 home console, while those looking to play on the Vita handheld will be able to buy the two titles as separate packages.

Square Enix states that, “Both games are based on the International version, which is the most complete, feature-heavy iteration of each game to release. The International version of Final Fantasy X-2 never made it to European shores before, so there’s quite a chunk of additional content for you to dive into!”

The version of the game includes new super bosses, more gameplay options and new abilities for heroes.

More information and an official trailer are expected on March 25.
