Video game publisher Square Enix has not announced a Limited Edition for its upcoming High Definition remake of Final Fantasy X/X-2, but its existence has been revealed via the weekly promotions that retail chain Gamestop is running.

Gamers will get the new package for free when they pre-order the game, although the company is not yet saying what gamers will get access to and Gamestop did not offer details.

Square Enix has a long history of bringing its older titles back to life using improved technology.

The company has also not commented on the Gamestop reveal for the Limited Edition.

In addition to allowing fans to play older titles on current-gen consoles, Square Enix is also working on Final Fantasy XV, which is expected to arrive on next-gen devices.

It will use the core elements of Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
