Phil Fish, the independent developer behind the popular Fez title, confirmed that the controversial Xbox 360 edition of the game will get its long awaited patch in a few months, in order to finally fix the save game corruption bug.

Fez was eagerly awaited by many Xbox 360 owners, and developer Phil Fish took his time to make a clever puzzle experience.

Sadly, after the release of the first patch, a nasty bug appeared that caused save game corruption issues.

However, Fish claimed that he couldn’t update the game because Microsoft was charging him a lot of money to actually release the patch.

Since then, Microsoft's policies have been changed, and Fish confirmed on Twitter that the Xbox Live Arcade version of Fez will be updated in a few months, after he actually completes work on the patch.

No other details were given, so fans will have to wait for Fish to finish his work.
