Ubisoft has confirmed that it has no plans to bring Far Cry 3 onto the Nintendo Wii U, despite the fact that it's bringing quite a lot of other big games onto the platform.

The Nintendo Wii U is getting ready to debut in November around the world and one of its key backers is Ubisoft, which is bringing top notch games, including Assassin's Creed 3, but also exclusives like Rayman Legends or ZombiU.

Unfortunately, it seems that Far Cry 3 won't arrive onto the Wii U, as an Ubisoft spokesperson told CVG that the company has "no plans" to launch the stunning first-person shooter onto the new Nintendo platform.

No reason was given so it's unclear why Ubisoft is making this move.

As such, while both the Wii U and Far Cry 3 will be released this November, the game will only appear for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
