Developer and publisher Ubisoft is launching the 1.03 patch for its first-person shooter Far Cry 3 on the PlayStation 3, with the Xbox 360 version still in certification at Microsoft.
Gamers who have Far Cry 3 will get it in the near future, which might mean everything from tomorrow to a few days.
The patch is quite a big one and fixes a number of general and multiplayer bugs, introduces many improvements to the map editor and also improves the overall single-player experience.
The official website has the extensive list.
It’s rather unusual for a patch to launch at separate dates on the two consoles, especially considering that patch 1.03 for Far Cry 3 has been available on the PC for some.
Ubisoft is planning more long-term support for the title, which has been awarded numbers Game of the Year awards for 2012.
