Ubisoft has confirmed that Far Cry 3 has gone gold, meaning work on the highly anticipated first-person shooter is complete and, in order to mark this achievement, a special story video has just been released.

Far Cry 3 promises to once again blend a visually stunning shooter experience with a more outlandish story filled with all sorts of philosophical themes like insanity.

Now, after pushing it back from its initial September release date, Ubisoft has confirmed that the game has gone gold and is on track to meet its late November launch.

What’s more, in order to further draw in people, Ubisoft has also revealed a special video with the game that emphasizes its story, not to mention the unique characters you meet while trying to rescue your friends on the stunning tropical island.

Far Cry 3 is out on November 29, in Europe, and December 4, in North America, for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms. Until then, check out the new story trailer above.
