Michael Biehn, the actor who voices Sergeant Rex “Power” Colt in Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, says that the spin-off video game might become a full-fledged franchise.

However, this depends on how well a crucial meeting between publisher Ubisoft and the game director goes.

Speaking on the Major Nelson Radio podcast the actor states Dean Evans, the creative director working on Blood Dragon “was with me on the phone last night. He was pretty jacked up.”

He adds, “He was going into a meeting today, to you know – I think he wants to turn it into some sort of franchise. He’s got a sequel in mind.”

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon was created in six months and was supposed to offer a diversion to fans of the series.

The experience, which uses ‘80s action movie clichés, was very well received by the community.
