The team offers some advanced tips to stop attacks

The development team at EA Sports is delivering a new video for FIFA 15 which aims to teach all those playing the game the more subtle points of defensive work, taking on a variety of subjects from sliding tackles to containment tactics and custom moves.

Most of the information should be familiar to those who already have the football sim or played previous versions of it, but it's nice to see all the details presented in one slick video.

It's unclear why defensive tips are delivered so late after the launch of FIFA 15, but the video might be seen as a subtle hint from the developers that those players who are complaining that it is too easy to score goals in the title simply do not use their players as they should when they do not have possession of the ball.

FIFA 15 emphasizes the need to contain very capable players, limit their space and try to force them to commit errors, with sliding tackles only used as a last resort, when the player is sure he can get the ball from the attacking opponent or when he has no other way of stopping him from scoring.

EA Sports will deliver a major new patch for the title in February, in order to reflect the changes created by the real world transfer window.

It's unclear if balance changes are also being planned.
