Developer EA Sports announces that the Ignite engine gives it the resources to add a new layer of complexity to the simulation of stadiums for FIFA 14, which can be seen in the new Living Worlds feature of the game.

Gamers will be able to feel the experience that players have when they walk out on the pitch and are cheered or booed by huge numbers of fans.

The team says, “3D crowds come alive with distinctive home and away supporters cheering their sides for the first time in a FIFA game. As the match flows, so will the intensity from those experiencing in the stands, just like a real football match.”

FIFA 14 players will also interact with the ball boys and their coaches during the match and their overall attitude will change as the pressure is building.

The new feature is being powered by the Ignite engine, which will only be offered on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One versions of the EA Sports game.
