14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at EA Sports continues to talk about FIFA 14 after the official announcement, offering more information on the design process behind the Pure Shot feature and its effects on player experience.
The team states, “The best goals are a combination of perfect timing, anticipation, and great positioning. Fans will be rewarded for all three in FIFA 14.”
They cite legendary strikes from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Lionel Messi and Papiss Cisse’s as examples of what players will be able to do in FIFA 14.
The Pure Shot feature will work in tandem with improved physics for the game ball, which will react realistically when hit in various ways by players with different levels of skill.
FIFA 14 is expected to arrive during the fall on the PC, the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
