EA Sports has confirmed that a brand new maintenance period will kick off later today, August 26, for the FIFA 13 Ultimate Team mode and the EA Sports Football Club (EASFC) experience, which will take them offline for around five hours.

FIFA 13 and its Ultimate Team Mode have become extremely successful and Electronic Arts is preparing even more new things for fans with the upcoming FIFA 14 title.

In order to make sure that there will be no problems in transitioning the Ultimate Team experience to FIFA 14, EA took down the mode several times in the past few months to improve its structure and stability.

Now, another such maintenance period is set to kick off today, August 26, as EA revealed on Twitter that FIFA 13 Ultimate Team and EASFC would go offline for five hours, between 11:30am and 4:30pm GMT (3:30am and 8:30am PT).

Online multiplayer and others services will be unaffected.

The maintenance will get the Ultimate Team mode ready for FIFA 14 and should improve the stability of the Trade Pile and Web App.
