The development team at Codemasters is delivering a new video for the upcoming F1 2014, which is designed to show both the graphics and the core mechanics of the racing title by allowing fans to take a look at Daniel Ricciardo in a powerful Red Bull RB10 as he is going through the motions needed to complete a lap on the Austrian Spielberg circuit.

The team states, “It is the first time the track has featured in an official Forumla 1 video game from Codemasters and is one of four circuits which offer new gameplay experiences in F1 2014, including the new Sochi Circuit in Russia, the return of the Hockenheimring to the calendar which last held a race in 2012 and the Bahrain Grand Prix which was run as a night race for the first time in 2014.”

The Spielberg circuit is designed to have both fast speeds for cars and an undulating nature that blends fast and slow corners.

F1 2014 is designed to be the last title in the series that will be released on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, and launch will take place on October 17.

The team promises realistic physics and fully simulated tracks and cars.

An entirely new installment in the franchise, built from the ground up with a new engine, will arrive on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 in 2015.
