A new off-screen gameplay footage video from Turtle Rock Studios' upcoming Evolve has revealed a brief glimpse of a brand new monster, the fearsome Wraith.

The game offers an asymmetrical multiplayer experience where a team of four hunters, a trapper, an assault, a medic and a support, have to work together to bring down a fifth player, in control of a powerful fighting machine, a predator at the very top of the food chain.

The third monster, the Wraith, was seen briefly during the Evacuation story trailer released earlier this month, delivering a nasty uppercut to a poor member of the assault class.

So far, the developer has only unveiled two of the four monsters that hunter teams will go up against, the Goliath and the Kraken, gargantuan beasts that will put the lives of all in peril and will require seamless cooperation and great synchronization to take down.

While the Goliath relies on his strength and the Kraken is more focused on agility, The Wraith is all about misdirection and stealth, looking to be tailor made for gamers who prefer a more stealthy approach, and who would rather use decoys and teleportation abilities to pick off hunters one by one, instead of simply charging in.

Evolve is scheduled to come out on February 10, 2015, headed to Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
