EverQuest Designer Brad McQuaid has revealed that his next project will be a massively multiplayer online role-playing game titled Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen.

Following the early discovery of the game’s twitter account at the hand of fans, McQuaid decided to make the announcement official. Following the confirmation of the name and the sharing of the first official concept art on Brad McQuaid’s Twitter, fans are expecting the Kickstarter project to start within the month.

Some rumors that Sony Online Entertainment had already registered an account related to Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen and will be involved with the project have been officially squashed by McQuaid.

Sigil Games was purchased by SOE in 2007, and up until now, Brad McQuaid has been involved with the company working on EverQuest.

In September, he announced that he left Sony Online Entertainment, but that he is still working closely with the company, leading to speculation regarding a possible spiritual successor to Vanguard and EverQuest.
