Warren Spector, who is currently leading the creation of Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two at Junction Point, says that those who have never played the first game in the series have missed a chance to experience a choice-and-consequence system similar to that of Deus Ex.

He tells the official PlayStation Blog that, “They missed the ‘Deus Ex’ choice and consequence idea applied to completely different genres – in Disney Epic Mickey games, each player is the teller of his or her own story, just as in Deus Ex and all the other games I’ve worked on.”

Warren Spector is one of the game creators responsible for the success of the first Deus Ex game, which got a reboot in 2011 from Square Enix.

Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is a cooperative adventure that will be offered on November 18 in the United States on a variety of platforms, including the new Nintendo Wii U.
