Andrei Dumitrescu: The launch fall season is in full swing, with many big titles already out and a number still to come, but when I am at home I like to ignore the hype and play those games that I know fit my interests and passions.

So, most of this weekend will be occupied by Fallen Enchantress, the new game from Stardock, which mixes traditional turn-based strategy with a number of high profile role-playing game elements, some city buildings, a complex research system and a new take on spells that affect both tactical and strategic layers.

The game is deep and takes some time to play and I want to try and really understand all the involved mechanics in the coming two days.

When fantasy strategy overwhelms me, I plan to also return to Football Manager 2013, the simulation from Sports Interactive, and try to improve on my seasonal performances with Liverpool, which so far has failed to take the championship.

Andrei Dobra: My end of the week will be spent with quite a few great games. First, I’m going to delight myself with a few more multiplayer matches from Assassin’s Creed 3, as the new title, while a bit too complex, retains the intense online action that was already featured in Revelations or Brotherhood.

When I am not assassinating others online, I’m going to jump back into Mass Effect 3’s own multiplayer mode in order to complete this weekend’s Operation Jackhammer. I’ve already finished the Halloween Challenge and I’m more than looking forward to picking my different Vanguard characters and blowing enemies away with their Biotic Charge attacks.

Last but not least, I’ll engage in one more online experience, in the form of Orcs Must Die 2’s co-op mode, as I want to master the recently released Are We There Yeti DLC.
