Playing Galactic Civilizations III and Game of Thrones

There's no way I can separate myself from Galactic Civilizations III right now, which means that this weekend will be once again dominated by my attempts to balance research, social development and warfare as I try to expand my faction and reach one of the victory conditions.

This is the final weekend of the current season in the Premier League, which makes it a perfect occasion to re-install Football Manager 2015 and try to once again get to the Champions League with Liverpool, but I simply do not have the time for two titles of almost equal complexity.

So I will play the Stardock experience for as long as I can, focusing on the creation of a custom civilization that appeals to my tactics.

I love to try and get a Technological Victory, and that tends to end badly for my race because I sometimes happen to fall behind in the arms race.

One solution would be to try out one of the more warlike factions, but I rarely manage to perform well when using them.

When I take short breaks from Galactic Civilizations III, I will play a little more Game of Thrones: Ascent, which has now found a comfortable home on my phone, active even when I play games on my PC.
