Playing Mass Effect 3, Fallout: New Vegas and PCM 2012

Andrei Dumitrescu: The 2012 edition of Le Tour de France, the most important cycling competition in the world, is drawing to an end and, risking to sound like a broken record, that means that I plan to spend my free time watching the time trial that should decide the overall classification and the Yellow Jersey and then admiring Paris as the cyclists fight on Le Champs Elysees for the last stage.

This means that I will also be playing PCM 2012, finishing my alternate Tour de France simulation and pushing ahead with my two big careers, one with a complete custom team and the other using the much maligned riders of Radioshack Nissan Trek.

And when I get overloaded with cycling, I plan to also spend a little time with the Game of Thrones strategy game from Cyanide. I didn’t manage to play it when it was originally released and I will now satisfy my craving for some new A Song of Ice and Fire related content.

Andrei Dobra: I finally completed Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and just in time too, as I’m going to dedicate this weekend not just to my old favorites, Mass Effect 3 and Diablo 3, but also to new experiences like Fallout: New Vegas, as I took advantage of the Steam Summer Sale to get all of its DLC packs on the cheap.

Mass Effect 3 received the Earth add-on earlier this week and, since then, I’ve once again been spending a lot of time with its multiplayer mode, as the new characters aren’t unlocked right away so you need to keep playing and spending credits on equipment packs in order to get them.

My girlfriend is still quite passionate about Diablo 3, so I’m going to join her this weekend in order to see what new loot we uncover. Don’t forget that the couple that dungeon crawls together, stays together.

Last but not least, I’m going back to the Mojave Wasteland in Fallout: New Vegas but, until I continue my adventures, I’m probably going to spend quite a lot of time searching for new mods for the game, in order to tweak and enhance the experience.
