Playing more Qvadriga, some Football Manager 2015

My group of friends has instituted a Christmas tradition which takes place the weekend before the holiday, when we are all still in the same city and can spend time with each other without feeling guilty that we are not in other towns with our families.

We basically choose a thematic cocktail and some food and then come together to create and then enjoy both, while also engaging in some light gaming that does not involve computers.

This year, I want to introduce the entire group to the board game Kingdoms, which can be easily understood and can be a lot of fun in the right hands, while mixing together a delicious Tom & Jerry.

This tradition means that I will have a limited amount of time to play video games, but I plan to still find a few hours to enjoy just a few more matches in Football Manager 2015.

I might have finally grown tired of dealing with Liverpool and I plan to move countries in order to manage a team in Italy.

I might also play a little more Qvadriga, a mostly overlooked title that launched early in 2014 and offers a simulation of the chariot races of Ancient Rome, complete with some very interesting mechanics and a solid presentation.
