Despite the fact that publisher Electronic Arts was missing from the New York event during which Sony revealed the PlayStation 4 home console, it says that there are plenty of reveals linked to the next generation of devices planned for the coming months.

Blake Jorgensen, the chief financial officer of EA, is quoted by Polygon as saying during the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecom Conference that, “I’d say between now and E3 you’re going to see a lot of stuff from us,”

He added, “We’re very excited about Sony’s platform. The technical power on the platform is going to allow us to do a substantial amount of things we’ve never done before.”

It seems that the most important next-gen video games for Electronic Arts are the first-person shooter Battlefield 4 from DICE and the football simulation FIFA.
