The team at ZeniMax Online is asking all those who have received a beta invitation for The Elder Scrolls Online for their participation in the testing process during the coming weekend period, in order to make sure that the MMO is the best it can be on launch.

The company explains in an official blog that, "We need you to get in there, be persistent even when you encounter issues, and push all of our systems hard. We’ll be doing a number of our own tests during the session, like bringing the server down and back up, to gauge how our systems respond to these situations."

The help of players is required in order to gather data which shows how the infrastructure deals with their number and how the core systems of the MMO respond to their actions.

ZeniMax Online does not say exactly how many gamers are taking part, but says that the number is massive and all those interested can still sign up, although that's not a guarantee they will get a key.

The Elder Scrolls Online will be out on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
