The Elder Scrolls Online is a subscription-based MMO and that means the development team working on its at ZeniMax Online needs to deliver a constant stream of updates and high-profile new content in order to get paying gamers happy.

Paul Sage, the creative director working on the title, tells IGN that the second zone update for the MMO is called Crypt of Hearts and is classified as a veteran dungeon.

He adds, “I think any plan like that can be disrupted if something unforeseen happens. But right now we have the second update lined up and ready to go onto the PTS [Public Test Server] once we launch Craglorn, and that’s coming soon.”

Sage did not offer any kind of details on what gamers will be able to find in Crypt of Hearts, but the name does suggest a connection to the undead that plague the game world.

The Elder Scrolls Online is at the moment offered on the PC and there are also plans to launch in on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 in about six months.

Bethesda has not yet said how many copies the title has sold or how many subscribers it has after more than one month on the market.
