The development team at ZeniMax Online and publisher Bethesda are announcing that the recent maintenance periods for both the North American and the European mega-servers for The Elder Scrolls Online have given them the chance to deploy patch 1.2.5.

The new update is designed to address a wide variety of issues that the community has been reporting, linked to quest progress, user interface design and the core gameplay mechanics.

The companies explain that “We have also introduced some changes to the Veteran system to make it more solo-friendly. We have implemented some small performance improvements that may result in better FPS for some. Please note that is part of an ongoing effort to resolve client performance issues, and we are working on additional improvements and fixes as well.”

Both the second and the third alliance zones have been changed in order to make it easier for players to progress through Veteran ranks in The Elder Scrolls Online, especially for those players who want to approach the MMO solo.

A full list of changes can be seen on the official site of the game.

The Elder Scrolls Online is a subscription-based title, and the developers working on it are running regular maintenance periods for the title and constantly delivering patches in order to improve the overall player experience and to convince them to continue paying for the game.
