The development team at ZeniMax Online is delivering a new development diary for its upcoming The Elder Scrolls Online, which focuses on the complex crafting system of the MMO in general and the blacksmithing skill.

The footage features Creative Director Paul Sage, Lead Gameplay Designer Nick Konkle and Lead User Experience Designer Chris Strasz.

The studio states, “We follow the journey of a blacksmith, from exploring and gathering materials to creating a special piece of armor. Blacksmithing is just one of the many crafting skills available in ESO.”

The Elder Scrolls Online will first be offered for PC gamers on April 4 and true fans can pick up a special Imperial Edition, which includes physical items, in-game bonuses and the ability to play for any alliance with any race.

The MMO will also be delivered on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 in early June, but no cross-platform play is planned.
