EVE Online was the subject of a massive hacker attack earlier this week and, after getting its servers back online, the game's developer, CCP, has confirmed that it's going to reward all active players with 50,000 skill points.

EVE Online and Dust 514 were unavailable between June 2 and June 3, as the servers were flooded with a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack.

After getting the servers back online, CCP promised that it was going to reward players for their patience.

The studio has now confirmed on the official website that all active players will get 50,000 unallocated skill points.

Those with active trial accounts will see an extra seven days added to their trial time.

The studio offered another batch of 50,000 skill points a few weeks ago, so some players might find 100,000 points awaiting them in their accounts.
