The development team at EA Sport in charge of golf simulations is announcing that the company and Tiger Woods have decided to end their partnership for the next installment in the series.

The decision was probably made because of the personal problems that the athlete had in the last few years and his diminished performances on the pro golf circuit.

The company says that the next generation of golf game is designed to use the extra processing power included in the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

The team explains in the official announcement that, "We're working on a new approach to deliver the best golf experience to our fans — we think you'll love it, and so we’re excited to share the first screenshot of our next generation golf game currently in development."

More information about the coming PGA Tour will be delivered soon and launch will probably take place in 2014.
