The reveal of the much-rumored Mirror’s Edge 2 did not come with a lot of details about the coming free running game, but one of the leaders of publisher Electronic Arts says that the experience will be alive, big and epic.

Frank Gibeau, the leader of the EA Labels division, tells IGN that developer DICE has a clear creative idea for the game and that a great story is one of the main focuses.

He adds, “With all the gen 4 technology, we can re-create that magic of running across rooftops and experiencing a city from a different point of view through the character of Faith.”

The fact that Mirror’s Edge 2 is a prequel also means that more gamers could be interested in it because it does not require any previous knowledge about the universe.
