Dying Light, the upcoming open world zombie game from Polish developer Techland, might only appear for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, at least according to a new report, although one of the studio's representatives has come forward to confirm just that it's going to launch in 2014.

Dying Light is the next big title from Techland and the project was revealed last year as an impressive open world zombie game with an emphasis on parkour and first-person action, instead of the slightly complex role-playing experience from the studio's other franchise, Dead Island.

The new title is going to appear on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One but so far only the next-gen versions have been talked about.

Now, Polish website HCGamer has revealed a report claiming that Dying Light has been canceled for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and that Techland is focusing on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

The report also alleges that the title is now set to appear in 2015 but Techland's PR representative has confirmed to OnlySP that the 2014 release window is still valid for Dying Light.

As of right now, however, it's unclear when and for what exact platforms the zombie game will appear.
