14 DAY TRIAL // Dust: An Elysian Tail total sales tally across all the platforms the 2D action role-playing game is available on just passed one million, according to one of its developers.
The game is a high-quality hand-animated production set in a fantasy world of anthropomorphic animals, initially launched on Xbox Live Arcade in 2012, developed by independent studio Humble Hearts.
Since then, it has also been released on Steam and GoG, for PC, Linux and Mac, in late 2013, complete with Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud support, and was met with enthusiasm by critics and players alike.
Dust: An Elysian Tail follows a mighty warrior with unique powers piecing together his past and present existence after being struck by amnesia, with the aid of a sentient sword and its quirky guardian.
The game was also recently included in the Humble Bundle 11, among other popular indie titles such as Guacamelee! Dean Dodrill, co-creator of Dust: An Elysian tail, has recently shared via Twitter that the game has surpassed the 1 million units sold marker, thanks in no small part to the close to half a million sales the Humble Bundle registered.
