The day one update for Driveclub is already available for download, despite the fact that the game isn't even officially launched, and details about its contents and size have just appeared online, confirming the many things in the patch as well as its 135MB storage requirement.

Driveclub is one of the most anticipated PS4 exclusives of the year, with developer Evolution Studios promising owners of the Sony home console a great racing experience that's more than worth the almost year-long delay that was needed to ensure a high degree of quality.

The game is set to become available in North America today, October 7, and in Europe and other regions tomorrow, October 8, and a day-one update is already available for download via the PlayStation Network online service.

The patch, as revealed by Gamepur, weighs in at around 135MB in size and includes quite a few fixes and additions to the game.

These range from the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S, which is available for owners of the full game, not the PS Plus edition, to fixes for rendering problems when entering or exiting tunnels. An exploit in the Tour mode that allowed players to progress despite not completing event objectives has also been eliminated, while issues with the connectivity to multiplayer events and other bugs have been resolved.
