Ragnar Tornquist, the project director working on Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey, says that the game is designed to appeal to a mature audience, which means that quite a bit of adult content will be included.

He tells Rock, Paper, Shotgun that, “that doesn’t mean there will be tons of sex and violence. Just a bit of sex and violence. There are mature themes. People die. Children die. Good people die. There are fewer certainties. Things are a bit less black-and-white.”

Recently Red Thread revealed Europolis, a city that combines a number of European influences with some pretty dark themes.

Tornquist also wants to make sure that players are keenly aware of the contrasts that Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey builds between Europolis and Marcuria and between the various characters that inhabit them.

Fans can still contribute to Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey on Kickstarter.
