The development team at BioWare has already announced that its upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition will include a cooperative multiplayer mode, and a new video from the studio offers a quick look at its core features and shows some actual gameplay.

The footage explains that gamers will be able to choose from 12 character templates, equip 130 weapons and 80 variations of armor before exploring a range of dungeons filled with enemies that can drop both gold and unique loot.

The combat sequences are a little fragmented but it seems that the core mechanics will be very similar to those of the single player of Dragon Age: Inquisition, and that four-player groups will have to carefully collaborate to take down the most powerful enemies.

BioWare has already said that single player and multiplayer will be kept largely separate and that items that one player gets access to cannot be sold or transferred.

The company also plans to offer an option to use real-world money to get access to chests that include extra loot, but most items need to be earned through gameplay.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be launched on November 18 of this year on the PC, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and last-gen consoles.
