BioWare has just posted a brand new screenshot from Dragon Age: Inquisition, its upcoming medieval fantasy role-playing game, showing off a fresh region called the Exalted Plains in the Dales.

Dragon Age: Inquisition promises to usher in a new chapter for the series made by BioWare, marking a return to the roots seen in Dragon Age: Origins while respecting the events in Dragon Age 2.

After learning more via different previews about the new title, and after hearing the first details about one of the all-new followers available in the game, Vivienne, fans can now enjoy a fresh image with Inquisition.

As you can see above, via the official Dragon Age Twitter, the new game is looking gorgeous, at least in this photo of the Exalted Plains that are situated in the Dales.

In case you forgot, the Dales is an area located near Orlais and acts as the homeland of the elves, although they’ve since moved to all sorts of other zones around the continent of Thedas.

As the main protagonist – the Inquisitor – players will be able to explore quite a bit of the world as the main goal is to unite the different kingdoms in order to fight a world-ending event.

Dragon Age: Inquisition launches this fall for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
