BioWare confirmed that its recently revealed Dragon Age 3: Inquisition is going to be released on a wide variety of platforms, including current and next-gen ones, in the form of PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Among the most impressive reveals made by Electronic Arts at its E3 2013 press conference was the first video of Dragon Age III: Inquisition, the next installment in the successful role-playing game series from BioWare.

While a few details were already known by fans, the trailer teased some of the game's features, such as the open world and the importance of choices made by the player.

It also confirmed that Morrigan, the witch from the first Dragon Age: Origins, will be making a comeback.

Now, BioWare's Mike Laidlaw confirmed on Twitter that Dragon Age 3: Inquisition will be a cross-generation game when it's going to appear in 2014, meaning it will hit the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, not to mention the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
