Overkill Software has finally shown some love and care for the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions of Payday 2, launching patch 1.03 (or 1.04 for certain variations) for the game's PS3 version right now and still working on the same update for the Xbox 360 variant, bringing some of the tweaks that have already been seen on PC.

Payday 2 appeared last August for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 but, since then, Overkill Software has rolled out many updates mostly just for the PC edition, making lots of tweaks, some drastic changes, and even a recent file overhaul to reduce the install size of the game.

Now, many of those features are available for the PS3 version of Payday 2, as a patch is up for download via the PlayStation Network. The patch takes games to version 1.03 if you have an American retail copy or an European retail and downloadable copies. Those with downloadable copies from America will see their game version reach 1.04, but it won't affect their gameplay online or offline.

The Xbox 360 version of the title will get the update in the near future, as Overkill is still busy tinkering with its content.

Besides the free updates, three new DLC packs are available for the game, in the form of the Armored Transport and the Gage Pack #01 and #02.

You can check out all the details on the Steam page.
