Sony has rolled out yet another system software update for the PS4 console, this time taking its firmware to version 1.76, bringing forth a suite of other stability fixes that are confirmed yet lack any sort of details.

The PS4 console has been around for quite a while now and Sony has rolled out plenty of different software updates designed to add more features to the console and to prevent any errors, issues, or problems from affecting owners of the home console.

However, many of the firmware updates have been small and insignificant, only serving to increase the device's stability, without adding any other major features.

The latest firmware update 1.76 is no exception, with Sony only confirming that it improves the stability of the console's software during the use of certain applications.

The previous update, 1.75, at least added the ability to view 3D Blu-ray movies besides the traditional stability improvements, but this one seems to be lacking even in that area.

Sony confirmed yesterday that the next major update for the PS4 was firmware update 2.0, set to deliver live themes and many other features to the home console. However, seeing as how it doesn't even have a concrete release date, you can expect a few more stability updates to appear in the near future.

Until then, you can download PS4 system software update 1.76 right now via the PlayStation Network.
