4J Studios has confirmed that Minecraft for the Xbox 360 will get title update 14 today, March 26, while the PS3 edition will receive patch 1.04 tomorrow, March 27, alongside various DLC packs with new textures, skins, and more.

Minecraft became a global hit on the PC platform and, thanks to 4J Studios, it appeared onto a series of other devices, including the Xbox 360 and PS3, where it sold millions of copies worldwide.

For quite some time, 4J has been working on an update for the major game, and it confirmed last week that title update 14 on Xbox 360 and patch 1.04 on PS3 would debut soon.

The studio has just revealed on Twitter that Minecraft on Xbox 360 will get update 14 today, March 26, as it's already rolling out via the Xbox Live online service globally.

Tomorrow, Minecraft on PS3 users will be able to download patch 1.04 for their version of the game via the PlayStation Network.

At the same time, various downloadable add-ons will also be made available for the PS3 edition of the title. These include Skin Pack 1, the Battle & Beasts Skin Pack, the Plastic Texture Pack, and the City Texture Pack.
