Grand Theft Auto 5 update 1.05 is now available for download on the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms, solving a few issues with the Grand Theft Auto Online multiplayer mode, while paving the way for the free GTA Stimulus money that will arrive this week.

GTA 5 broke sales records around the world despite appearing on just two platforms – the PS3 and Xbox 360 – and its multiplayer mode, GTA Online, felt that huge strain when it was launched at the beginning of October.

After several patches, Rockstar Games has just deployed a new one, in the form of update 1.05, apparently solving several "residual issues" with the multiplayer mode. Check out the list below, via the Newswire.

- Built in measures to prevent users from losing their progress when there is a cloud outage - Built in a number of measures to protect players’ cash balances even if there are network problems - Fixed an issue where on rare occasions during network problems the player could lose their Online vehicle or mods after exiting GTA Online

The new patch also paves the way for the upcoming GTA Online Stimulus Package, which consists of $500,000 of in-game money that will appear in the following days.
