Developer From Software has just released the 1.03 patch for its PlayStation 4 exclusive action role-playing game Bloodborne, fixing some of the most glaring issues that gamers are experiencing.

First and foremost, the update addresses one of the most annoying things about the title, the lengthy loading screens, reducing the loading time to around 10 seconds when you're warping into the Hunter's Dream and cutting it by around 15 seconds all across the board, varying by circumstance, thus making all the transitions between different areas of the game world considerably more bearable.

Furthermore, loading screens will now feature a random item and its description, just like in the company's previous title, Dark Souls 2, enabling players to learn more about the game while waiting.

Veteran players already know that the best way to reduce loading times overall is to play tight and be careful not to die, but they most likely already finished Bloodborne a couple of times, so this will allow newcomers to have a better time.

The update also addresses a potentially game-breaking bug for those who want to experience Bloodborne's world with their friends, and now non-playable character events should advance properly during multiplayer.

In addition to this, From Software fixed various bugs, such as the one rendering certain elevators inoperable and causing bosses to glitch and become immobilized.

Another issue which caused matchmaking problems when gamers used the Suspend/Resume function has been corrected, and the team pledged to continue making improvements to the Bloodborne experience.

However, some players, namely speedrunners, might not like some of the fixes introduced with the new patch. According to users on reddit, some of the famous glitches used to skip over certain areas of Yharnam no longer work.
