Assassin's Creed Unity received update 4 on the PC platform a few hours ago, bringing forth not just many different fixes that are already live on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, but also a few PC-specific improvements for different crashes and visual issues.

Unity was supposed to herald a new age for the long-running Ubisoft series, but unfortunately, it failed to impress people due to its many different issues and gameplay glitches that continue to persist despite different updates already released by Ubisoft.

The latest patch rolled out earlier this week across the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, and while it did include a variety of fixes, it also came with some new problems, especially on the Xbox One, where gamers had to download the whole game once again.

Now, the patch is live on the PC platform and brings forth not just the different bug fixes seen in the console versions of the update, but also a few PC-specific enhancements, according to the official forums.

These include fixes for crashes that happened when you quit to Windows from the free roam mode, but also when you accepted multiple Join the Club requests. Graphics issues with FXAA, PCSS, MSAA, and TXAA settings, not to mention the user interface, have also been resolved, while the right CTRL key can be assigned as a hotkey.
