Capcom has just rolled out the "A Trial for Adventures – Challenge Pack" DLC for Dragon's Dogma on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, adding two new modes to the action role-playing game.

Dragon's Dogma came out at the beginning of the year and impressed RPG fans with its open world and the action-focused gameplay, not to mention the novel Pawn mechanic that allowed players to customize their companions.

Now, Capcom has released a free content pack for Dragon's Dogma, in the form of the "A Trial for Adventures – Challenge Pack" for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, according to the company's Twitter account.

The DLC brings two new modes to the RPG, in the form of the Speedrun mode, which emphasizes getting through levels as quickly as possible, and Hard More, which introduces a new difficulty setting.

Each of the new experiences reward players with special bonuses and loot, so you might want to try them out.

A bigger expansion is out in early 2013 for Dragon's Dogma, in the form of the Dark Arisen add-on.
