Double Fine Productions launched the crowdfunding campaign for what would become Broken Age, a modern classic point-and-click adventure game, three years ago.

Among the incentives offered to Kickstarter backers was a documentary chronicling the studio's efforts during the development process, which the company has now made available to non-backers to enjoy.

The documentary, created by Two-Player Productions, is a series of insightful videos that offer an honest glimpse of creative development, following the indie studio's work on the high production value adventure game.

The video shows some of the hurdles that the developers encountered, as well as the challenges of game creation, and is a worthwhile watch for anyone interested in the behind-the-scenes magic of video game making.

For the time being, there are three episodes out of the total of 17 available, with additional ones to be uploaded over time.

In addition to this, you can also purchase the full set of episodes at 1080p on Double Fine's website, and nab a few bonuses when the series finishes airing.

Broken Age follows the coming-of-age story of two teenagers who find themselves in similar situations, but in vastly different worlds.

Double Fine released the first act in January 2014, with the final one expected to be launched sometime soon, for Windows, OS X, Linux, Android, iOS, Ouya, and the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita gaming devices from Sony.
