Dota 2 update 6.82, the long-awaited next gameplay-focused patch for the popular multiplayer online battle arena title, has just received its first teaser image from Valve, confirming that its release could happen very soon.

Dota 2 is one of the most popular free-to-play experiences available via the Steam service, thanks not only to its polished gameplay but also to the constant tweaking from developer Valve, alongside Icefrog, the anonymous developer of the original Dota mod for Warcraft 3.

However, besides the major Techies update that added the fan-favorite character, Dota 2 has received very few tweaks in regards to its actual gameplay or the abilities of the many heroes included in the title.

Now, the long-awaited patch 6.82 is apparently coming, as a teaser image depicting the 6.82 numbers, as well as Roshan, Bloodseeker, and Phantom Lancer has appeared on the official website.

The image is available under the Rekindling Soul address, which hints at the new Arcana set for Shadow Fiend that's been hinted at for some time now.

As of yet, Valve hasn't posted any official statement about the teaser image, but you can expect to learn more in the following days, and possibly even get a release date for Dota 2 update 6.82.
