Klei Entertainment's quirky survival sandbox game Don't Starve is being played by a million people following its landing on PlayStation 4.

Don't Starve is currently available freely on the PlayStation 4, for PlayStation Plus members, and Klei Entertainment has revealed that internal numbers show that the total players of their survival sandbox title are well over one million.

“With PlayStation Plus, beyond promotion of being a featured game, a lot of people who maybe wouldn't have tried our game did and really enjoyed it. Some of those people went on to check out the PC version as well, and would maybe be interested in the upcoming DLC,” said Klei Entertainment's Corey Rollins during an interview with Edge.

Now the team is investigating a PlayStation Vita version of Don't Starve, and has also admitted looking into a mobile port, but that it's not among their priorities.
